The rally was at Vistahermosa Circuit in Alicante (Spain). Sorry.
Anyway there is a region in El Algarve called Vistahermosa (50% portuguese & 50% spanish.) Spain and Portugal are very close and they share a lot of municipalities and even a language ...

Regarding Jose Trabal at 1978 Montseny (in the white 911 with 934 flairs in the previous post). I do not know if it was RSR 460 9066 here , that is atributed as being delivered to him on many lists (myself , I really wonder as it does not seem to me anyone would remove 1974 RSR rear flairs to install 934 type.....but I have never heard of 9066 still existing). Either way , here are some photos of what the car Trabal drove looked like after the second run.
Apparently (this is what I can make out of it) , after crossing the finish line he hit a parked bus .
"Así quedo el Porsche 911 Carrera de Trabal al finalizar la subida, desplazando un autocar unos 6 metros".
'This was the Porsche 911 Carrera of Trabal at the end of the climb, moving a bus about 6 meters'.
But he was the winner (last photo , Trabal riding with Juan Fernandez....Trabal on right).

Actually that bus was a "Guardia Civil bus" a kind of military police of that time, moved to the rally to safety and traffic control ...
I think I saw pics of that car with the original (standard) RSR flares. Maybe they used those flares after an accident which destroyed the original ones? In rallying cars suffer more punishment than road racing cars. Maybe those are the "Almeras-flares" ... I don't know, anyway front bumper-spoiler is not a 934 one, isn't it?
