BTW... you can buy the adaptor on e-bay to plug an iPod into the back of the Becker radio..
If I am not mistaken, the adapter only works on "non- amp" mono models. Becker informed me that when I wanted to get the iPod conversion, I could not use the plug or it would be mono. Fine if you are using only one speaker. To get stereo, they had to affix the wires on the inside.

There is a different plug for mono vs stereo. 6 pin vs 7 pin. I use the correct 7 pin plug and get great sound. I purchased ths unit from the same seller.

Ok, just saw this line in the ad:
Please note: This adapter will not work with the Becker Mexico Stereo. For incorporating the Stereo iPod feature in the Mexico we will need the radio in our shop, or you can use the Mono Adapter in my other listing.
I have a Mexico, which I why it did not work for me. So, now that I see the photo of the Europa again, I see that the amp is fixed to the head unit. On mine, it utilizes the pin connector. I stand corrected that the iPod plug should work in Stereo without modifications on the Europa, unlike the Mexico. It would have been a lot cheaper for me to get the Europa.
