    Front Sway Bush Installation

    Hi Guys

I'm installing new bushes all 'round - mostly weltmeister aftermarket products. In regards to the front sway bushes (through the body), the originals were cut/slit to go around the bar but the weltmeisters are not... can they be pushed past the squared ends or do I cut a slit like OEM?

    Thanks for the advice

I boiled mine and pushed them right on.

I didn't need to cut a slit but they did need a little work to get them in. Something about cutting a slit on perfectly moulded rubber doesn't feel right to me.

Okay, well I'll try the boiling water thing first - it worked yesterday on my rear sway droplinks.

Just to top this thread off, I ended up having to cut a slit... For me, the weltmeister versions were just too hard to get over the bar
