I have a bezel very much like that one, came on a blpkt fom a vw van. nice if you need to cover a hole.
I say, if you got wood, show it. if you got a hole, cover it up. ( that actually works for a lot of things)
I think the standard cut out surrounding a standard sized radio without a bezel is the way to go. Another consideration is if you keep the bezel on for some time and change your mind and remove it, you might see a shadow of the bezel on the wood's finish.
