Richmond here. thinking we need to figure out how to get some like minded folks out for a tour, or something
For those interested and nearby, there is the bi-weekly cars and coffee at the Starbucks near the Hugenot Bridge adjacent to the Virginia Eye Institute. Festivities start at 8, though things get going around 9. We have a couple of modified cars including a '72 with a 3.6L and a couple of other RS Clones. Map http://mapq.st/HYtHF6

OK, talking to myself for sure. Maybe I should just button it, but will persist just one more time. Where to VA Early 911 S Reg get together?

The Shenandoah Region, PCA is having their 16th annual Richmond Porsche Meet (RPM) the weekend of June 2 & 3. Nice concours setting on the James River and catered lunch on Saturday and autocross on Sunday. Great group of people, I have been to many of these events and seen some famous "Early S" folks attending. Pretty sure it is OK to just visit and park your Longhood next to the concours cars, if you like. For official info see pca.org, Shenandoah Region.
In Virginia Beach, like most cities these days, we have a C & C first Saturday of the month in the "Hilltop" area of the city. All kinds of cars show up, I am usually the only early 911.
First Settlers Region, PCA has a monthly breakfast at "Pops" in Chesapeake, VA on the second Saturday of each month. Well attended. See pca.org, First Settlers, zone 2.
Hope to see you at one of these events in the future....

I'm in DC. Definitely up for a get together and drive in July.

PCA First Settlers Region Saturday breakfast at Pop's in Chesapeake, VA had the usual good turnout. Included were 3 longhoods in the sea of much newer Porsches.

Thanks Mac for pointing us few 'I guess' out,it seems in this area you almost need to associate with local Chapters of PCA either Chesapeake or Potomac ,but there are
a few active early Reg members out and about in DC NOVA and MD ,you just need to contact a few to see where the latest spot is ..lately the Rockville starbucks has hosted
a few meets more often coordinated by some guys from rennlist...
One great meet is the Katies Corner Cars and Coffee in Greatfalls ,a lot of local guys will frequent that meet but it is early sat 7:am,feel free to contact me Bert will certainly
share any info ,thanks 202 413 7811
And while I'm at it "Chuck" why isn't there a Midatlantic /DC Metro/ DMV regional forum ? what gives....
