Hester is another one of my favorite cars to read about on this site.

Haven't heard anything about her in a while. Any updates?

You might want to prod him with a PM or email. He has not be on the site in over a year.

Well, the E-mail thing worked. I don't have anything new to report. I still have the car. It's resting on a battery tender under a car cover. The last time I had her out, I changed the oil. I really don't have much use for the car. It's not a daily driver. It's not my first choice for a night out on the town. I don't have tons of time to just drive out into the country just for the hell of it and life has a constant flow of other projects lined up to occupy my mind. I sort of wish I could just sell it but it was a gift, you know?

    I took this picture January 1, 2012.

    I concur....

Stay strong, the moment in time will be right, and when you get behind the wheel and down a good road with lots of twists and undulations, you will feel the joy of staying true to the faith.
You will sense the love....the joy of ownership, and if Hester is gone, you will only have regrets.

We have all been there. Trust us on this.

You could consider gifting it on to a new caretaker. Keep in mind it should be used and that was part of the gift.
