    Something a little different...66 speedster!

"Very Rare Porsche Speedster only a few of these have been built". The seller doesn't state that only a few were built because there is no such thing as a 66 "speedster". It's a chop shop 911/912 special. Seller doesn't even state if it's a 912 or a 911 motor. Granted the car looks cool, but the only way I would ever cut an early 911/912 up to make a speedster would be if the original car had been rolled.

I like it. Would change out the S bumper and stick a polo motor in it!

There have been a few of these done over time and, when well-executed, I think they are cool. This one needs a little help to my eye, but if it were closer to me I would go take a look.

Just a set of deep 5 1/2 or 6 " fuchs and lower & align from West End would do wonders

much cleaner lines - like comparing a cab (1st car) and a speedster (yours)...

    Ryan,
The side profile looks amazingly similar to a 356 cab. Besides the changes to the front windshield, was any/much body work done to the rear of the car? Was it originally a coupe or targa? 911 or 912? It would be great to see more pix and angles of the car.

It started life as a 66 912 coupe. Lots more pics and a period article on the car here:
