Don't overlook the track/race cars. Many are maintained to a very high standard and can be very easily returned to a more road friendly spec.
E.g. Cam's orange ST: peel the stickers off, unbolt the front of the cage and fit some repro sport seats and you have an awesome "sports purpose" type road car. In my opinion, the car is an absolute BARGAIN. You can sell the bits removed or keep them with the car in case you or a subsequent owner decides to race or rally.

Hi Alex, do you happen to know if Jason's car is a matching numbers vehicle? Noticed that when it was up on Carsales it said "correct engine" rather than matching engine.

don't think it is matching, but that does not really matter too much - it is the correct series in that it is a 73E motor.
