    Sport seat foam, webbing etc

    Hi all

Im currently working towards the resto of my sports seats and have so far bought Erics houndstooth.
Im requiring a few new side bolsters (the foam parts), webbing and the accompanying rods, hinge screws etc. Ive looked all over the net but cant find anything. Im sure i have seen someone selling the foam bolsters... does anyone have any idea what these would be available?

    Thanks in advance

    Andrew

I know someone who bought the replacement foams etc from this company and now when he sits in the seats his head bangs up aginst the roof. Maybe he will comment as well.

Yes, that's me. I would try to have at least the middle parts made by an upholsterer in a softer foam.
The foam sitzklinik uses is too hard and the middle inserts are too thick.
    Cheers

yes me too (and I know I am the person who Clyde was thinking of )

however as i am spending more seat time in it it is improving.
mine was made worse by a decision to use a little more webbing than normal at the base of the seat which reduced the give in the seat even more - it will be better in the long run but that may be a long time away
i went from one extreme to the other - the foam in the old seats was crumbling and offered next to no support vertically
