    The Seller added an extra zero making the BIN $49,000, he's probably asking $4,900, which is also about $2,400 too much.

    These two-liter alloy cases sell between $2,000 and $2,800. One NOS sample was purchased by my friend "Chuck G" for $5,000 about 5 years ago.

    If any of those cases are from 1966 I'd appreciate if you could check for the number in my signature. I'm hoping to find the OC (original case).

    OK Marco. I guess if I have that one I found the one worth $49K

    I must go through my stash to be able to provide you feedback. It will take me some time as I must go to my storage. Stay tuned!

    Maybe if you had car # 300150-300160 (body number range that this case should have come from) and you were doing a concourse restore and you knew this engine was correct for your body, maybe just maybe you would try to work a deal on this case???

    To elaborate on 21window's posting and it's a small world;

    I own case # 900258 which was installed in car 300-121.
    This case # 900274 was installed in car 300-135.
    The both engines were installed in the cars on Dec 7, 1964.
    Mine was purchased from an Early S member years ago and case #900258 is the 5th oldest 911 engine case, known to exist today.
