1972 specifics

hi 911 fanatics -- i'm on the point of buying a 72 911 T (and selling my beloved 912) -- but i need your help for technical specs

- from what date on they used the external oil fill?
- what kind of motor should the 911T '72 have?
- should the back lenses and front blinkers have a chrome or a black border?
- what kind of fuchs should it have? (deep six with or without heart?)

External oil fill was a feature of the 1972 models from Aug '71
Engine should be mfi on US models (140bhp) or Zenith 40 TIN carbs on ROW models (130bhp)
F&R lenses should have silver rims
Fuchs (if fitted) should be 6x15" flat face version (911.361.020.00) with 3-pronged centre caps

External oil fill was a feature of the entire model year. The only exception known is the very first production 911T with the very first production body of the year, and constructed in March 1971.
