This particular dealer doesn't show-up in any of my PDLs, up thru MY '73, so . . . this outfit prolly never sold a Longhood except as 'used'

Anyway --- a pretty frame. Dull white lettering on a deep metallic blue back-round, flash-chromed. Looks like it's never been mounted. Plate is std CA pass, etc, and --- as a '71-issue . . . would never've showed-up here, like this. (This frame belongs more on something like an SC or Turbo)

Also, a proper RWB &Co . . . trust me

This address may've been the dedicated Porsche + Audi store (after '71?), since there seems to have been a McPeak VW franchise mentioned as operating at around the same time

This is one I actually got my hands on. Not as well known as some --- but hard to get. This looks to be an earlier version --- attached/fused to a mid-'60s black plate

Finished in what's left of white lettering on a medium blue back-round, flash-chromed . . . and crispy

I've only seen this a few times

This frame came w/ a pair of 'clips' to help secure the license plate to the lower part of the frame --- in lieu of using more screws for attachment, I guess. Looks fairly well-thought-out, too --- there's even a special slot worked into frame to hold everything in place

There are no Maker's marks or IDs, otherwise, so I'm wondering if this is some small/specialty Mfr's 'signature'
