I have 2 motors available. I will try to get them tested and also post some photographs.

    Appreciate any help.
Are you sure the motor is bad? Mine stopped working on my 72, I loosened up all the mounting bolts and it started working again, carefully tightened all back down and its been fine for 5 years since. Also make sure you have the rubber block in the door bottom which acts as a downward stop. Without it the mechanism can go down to far and bind up.

    window motor

OK- Here is what I have. (2) Bosch - 0132001004 FRA 12v10 4500 U/min. So, not the same part # but it looks to be the same. These spin nice and smooth. Anyone care to chime in if these will work?

    OK --- Here We Go . . .

    I'm seeing three different motors . . .

    1) silverc4s . . .
    ...Bosch pn = 0 130 805 002
Identified as '70 electric window motor

    2) nickb4 . . .
    ...Porsche pn = 901 624 102 01
Identified in PET as electric window motor up to '72

    3) beaker . . .
    ...Bosch pn = 0132001004
    Unidentified

    I've been told that the '70 EWM is a one-year-only bit . . . and is 3-wire

Problem is . . . these all look like 3-wire

Let's see what moito comes up with . . .

Thanks for that, Nick --- I fixed my post

And I'm betting that this is the correct pn, too. I was told that the first EWMs were identical --- for l/h + r/h. And your PET shows two pns for ''73-,' so . . .

I just checked my motors and both work in both directions.

I would suggest sending those original non-working motors to Cuba - they can rebuild and make 50 year old technology work forever
