    Hi Max,
...not at all. It's amongst sold cars there: "verkauft" It went to its new owner from there, and that very soon after it was offered for sale.
So, you supposedly already had my car's data taken from there. Sorry!
Off topic but my 3 ex-VW Samba Buses are seen there, too ('67, '59, '63)...and more to follow...not Porsches, "just" VWs. I won't sell no more classic Porsches...
just wanna buy and restore...a crappy but complete pre-74 S, any year or model. Do you know of any? I'm interested.
    Ciao,
    George

If it helps, from my notes from PCNA days, I see we imported the following in 1972:
    total 5120 cars, which were:
    4343 911 T
    378 911E
    399 911S
no break out as to Coupe, Targa.

    As compared to 1971:
    5328 total
    4280 911T
    716 911E
    332 911S

So for the 911S, that's 6 - 8% of the total over those years.

    Thanks. Data for 1972 I guess include 1971 MY and the first 1972 MY, i.e. 911 2.2 S "D" series and 911 2.4 S "E" series.

Wow, that's a lower number than I thought!

That would give roughly fifteen 1972 MY 911S Metallic Blue Coupes on U.S. roads today...

That was about 50% of 911 construction. I don't think Porsche broke 10k until 73 or 74.Anyone know when?

    Dear 356h,
Do you have PCNA member records attached to the 1973 model year cars? My car has a PCNA sticker & I would love to know if / for how long the owner registered my car. Vin 9113300021.
    Many thanks
