Same place the air filter sleeve clamp and timing sticker are.

I wonder who is doing their QC.

Really pretty ex-Ohio car. Looked at it and took some photos a couple years back. Owner at the time told me that he had the car painted once. He was quite successful auto-crossing the car back in the 70's.

Dave can you post up some detail shots for comparison on where it is today? I am interested to see if it really needed much.

What's with the fan strap? How hard is it to get that right?

    ..M568 Coloured windows
    ..Koni suspension

. . . For sale a fully restored chassis, having been restored professionally on a Porsche Celette body jig, and only original Porsche repair panels used (new and used). Fully documented complete bare metal preparation.
The chassis is currently fitted with a pair of widebody steel rear arches, that were so well prepared, it was decided to leave them fitted, client can choose to build a RSR style hot-rod or remove and fit original narrow quarters and rebuild as an original S.
The chassis has been etch primed to protect metalwork and is ready to be prepared and painted colour and specification as required.

    Parts included in sale
..Engine - Not matching number, but original 2.4S engine, type 911/53 complete. Engine number 6331xxx
..The engine was bought in good faith as a running engine, and stored for many years. It is very complete and original with all correct period parts including intake system and 013 pump. I would recommend the pump is inspected and overhauled, considering its been standing, before use.
..Gearbox - Correct 1973 Magnesium case 915/02 gearbox complete – sold as good (will strip and inspect prior to sale). Gearbox number 7330xxx
    ..Original wiring loom
..Set of Original 6Jx15 Fuchs correct dated

    ..Steel Bonnet
    ..New Steel front S bumper
    ..Used rear bumper quarters
..Pair of used doors, bare-metalled and etch primed
..Used S oil system comprising tank, thermostat, oil lines and front cooler
..Set of 5 used S instruments correct dated
    ..Comprehensive history file

The package of parts have been assembled to ensure that the rare and hard to find items have been included. If Tech 9 were to complete the build on behalf of a client, we have a suitable 1973 donor vehicle to use for the majority of the finishing parts, bar the interior (carpets, seats, trims etc) – but these items should be considered fitting new parts anyway . . .

someone just sent me this link:

    http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C495828

    150,000 pounds = $254,000.

I imagine the current asking price is now closer to $300k given the market.
