I woke up to BANNED… Of course we will change it...

That is not who we are here… our tech support used that in the interim… may be from all the work involved… it will be changed.

We’ll also eliminate Raj’s avatar, and his words on the first post, as per his request….

    Thanks

I now can report that the "S/T" 911 030 1108 known as "Chiquita III" is in Basel, Switzerland w my friend Tobias Nussbaum at http://www.flatsixcars.com/FSCe/Welcome.html (no affiliation).

The car did not see the road since the late 70ies and is left as it was last raced in Europe.
Chiquita III was a factory ordered (Chassis built on march 26th) 1970 911S in german market base spec at 930kg, in "Sonderfarben - special colour" yellow and built to S/T spec at the factory by client order of previous Chiquita I, II owner, Mr.Bauhaus.
In May 1970 it won the 1000km Nürburgring race, raced in fall 1970 at Zeltweg/Austria and participated in both 1971 Le Mans 24h race as well as the 1971 Targa Florio. It was later sprayed red and converted to a widebody 935 type race car w BBS wheels and huge rear spoiler, this is what today the car is.

I dont have yet the authority to post more pictures until previous/future ownership give (or will not give) me a green light to start a detailed thread.

The car's paperwork is simply amazing. German title, Kardex and history from day one, factory correspondence/letters with Porsche racing dept. Director Rico Steinemann, race and text documents, dozens of period race pictures as well as -never seen before- one owner's private period photos of the car 70/71. Simply stunning.
Car has interior including period roll cage, race seats, leather steering wheel, original lightweight 100l race tank, original lightweight glasses on rear and sides, two period Heinzmann fire e. as well as matching trans.&engine. It needs a full restoration and its planned to restore it back to its spring 1970 spec.

As told before, these are currently the only two pics I am allowed to publish. Thank you.
    The car as seen today.

Unique "Chiquita" yellow paint can be seen under later red spray.

The car in 1970 1000km Nürburgring. What a beautiful machine.
