    WTB: 1972 oil flap sticker

    who has the sticker that says OIL for a 1972 porsche it a 1 year deal only please advise gwilliams1961@yahoo.com

    There are two: a foil one on the underside of the oil door and an orange one for the filler cap.

    Below is what's printed on the foil sticker.

    Thanks for posting the pics - It seems that either the gas station attendant story is becoming less believable. How could there be so many incidents within the first year with not 1, but 2 labels identifying oil fill. No chance of a "710" compartment since the "l" in oil was not capitalized.

    Try Aase or ebay.
    Maybe US pump jockeys thought Oil meant gas in german. Thats assuming they could read.
