    Need help with COA info

Hello, the COA on my 73 coupe states (Black Leatherette 11) one of my reference books says that means perforated inserts. But another book shows allegedly original seats that are Leatherette and they are all smooth, so i'm confused? Also my car came with (comfort kit) what all does that include anybody know?

Thanks so much, trying to restore back to original and really need to know.

    Mark,

If you're talking about sport seats, as far as I know the most common treatment for '72/'73 MY for both leatherette and leather was smooth bolsters and perforated inserts...

Using the search feature in the upper right of the general info and tech forums will help with most of your questions, these have been discussed and documented many times. Example: Enter "comfort group", and your inquiry regarding "leatherette". You also might want to read up on the lack of authenticity of the COAs.

Chuck, thanks for your response i appreciate your time and efforts. Not sport seats and not comfort (group) coa says ( kit) I called Porsche N.A. and asked the gentleman these questions he suggested I call Germany I was kinda surprised he couldn't answer my questions. Are there no publications that cover all the options and what they include?
    Thanks

You could also try the reverse technique. Tell Porsche of NA what your car is like and they'll give you a COA to match your car. Am I getting too cynical?
