while you are posting photos of these Werks 69S rallye cars (and there is one in the for sale thread at the moment) can you or anyone identify the car in this photo which i think is of a 1969 rallye car
I have had it for years and cannot identify it (or more likely remember what it is)
it looks like a werks rally car but I cant read the registration plate to pin it down and i dont recognize the race number
I cant quite read the rally plate either but from the color it looks a bit like the acropolis - but i dont have a Porsche as car 9 at the Acropolis around that time in my records.

1966. Translation: "Huschke von Hanstein, head of the Porsche Racing department, had made up his mind to only use snowchains on his rally cars for the Monte Carlo Rally. Talk about Stone Age methods! (Left). The Cortina team were more equipped to modern standards with as many as 1200 studs (Scason) on each tyre (Right)."
