    Milou,
on your center lube question, here is how you recognize this. The red circle shows a oil line into the chain housing. On the other end is the hollow camshaft thru which the oil flows and is pushed out directly in the bearings (center lubrification). Problem here is that the ring between the inner side of the chain house and the turning camshaft wears out, the pressure in the cam drops as you do not notice because you do not see the leak on the outside. Later (4Q65?) this was changed and the oil was sprayed over the cams.
The center cam lube types you can easily recognize by this oil tube on the outside (left also).

    Hi 21 window,
txs for posting the below. Peculiar that the maintenance booklet says January 5, whereas CoA says February 4. From the car number I would guess manufacturing date is Feb 4. Anybody opinions about this?

Milou, your 492 is the first dark car I see with black under the grill, and judging the patina probably first paint? This is quite interesting as I estimated that the black under the grill was only on light colored cars. Maybe not then, but then the mystery continues as some cars do not have this black background.

They take the info for the COA from the kardex, which lists two dates, a look at the kardex might show the differnt dates.
