Side Note: I have a significant amount of parts and looking to thin out some of the shelves. Most is early 911 and 356. If you are in the Louisville, KY area please feel free to contact me, stop by the warehouse, and dig through the shelves. I am also open to having a swap meet at my warehouse. It's 10,000 sq. ft. on 1.2 acres with plenty of parking, restrooms and space for each attendee to set up their parts.

Email, text, and calls are best.

Not questioning the response provided by Richard but I have a 66 911 and the transmission in my car is also 52/65, 902/1 with serial 227126. Maybe a few left over transmissions from 65 went into early production 66's?

    Anyway GLWS,
    Mike

Thanks Richard! That is great info! Hopefully someone can use it on a 65 restoration!

My 1966 911 has transmission number 227433 - 200 odds after yours and mine has a Feb 66 production date, Regardless your transmission is for a model year 66 car.

Would you be interested in trading a 902/16 Trans-axle for yours? This is a special order '69 912 5 Speed, very desirable tranny with the Auto Cross guys......

I am in Columbus Ohio, so I could drive down that way.....

    Thanks,
    Dan W.
