White or Yellow wrapping mark whether it is fitted with noise suppression (funkentstört) or not.

Please elaborate: does yellow tape mean noise suppression and white mean none (or vice versa) or does the presence of either yellow or white tape mean noise suppression (or vice versa)?

Can anyone enlighten me as well, my 66 911 has a black voltage regulator, also BOSCH, with green tape wrapped around it.

    What does the green identify?

    Thanks,
    Mike
