Pelican has a Dansk for $500+
They also have an OEM for over a grand and
Restoration Designs has one for about $200..
I'm leaning toward the Dansk...good choice??
Thanks.....

I Have bought from restoration design, I would call them first . All their products are made on site and a great bunch of guys to deal with. They also have a body division where they install what they sell, so they know what they are talking about. Unless you have money to burn I would give them a call, They drive and restore Porsches for their personal use.

I would definitely go with Restoration Design. I used them on my rust project last year. The shop I use does 100 pt. restoration and they had no complaints at all about the fit of the panels. If they had a problem they would have told me. I have no doubt about that.

Ever since the change of ownership at Restoration Design, they have been my #1 choice for stampings.

R.D. has the correct front pan for the early dual battery cars, beware of buying a piece that is for the 74 up single battery cars, fits, but not correct!

The current Restoration Design owners have put a lot of work into the business since they took over a few years back. They currently offer a few versions of the suspension pan so the correct one can be purchased for the various years.

Simonsen does nice 356 sheet metal. http://www.simonsen-356.dk
My 356 SC has used parts from both parties. We used what fit and/or looked best.
None of this stuff fits perfectly on the 356 because they weren't manufactured like a 911.
Restoration Design is your best best for 911 parts short of having a panel beater make them or stripping a "good chassis".

Another vote for RD. Excellent fit and year specific subtleties are all there. I used 5 or 6 of their pieces on my restoration and Rob Gross said they all went in well.
