Dear all,
here is a small update, more meant as a bump, not much new.
Clearly more input needed on some newer items. People who gave valuable input before, pls review these as well.
Cheers, Jacques

Adding some photos to distinguish features of the 6 piece and 5 piece wood dash.
It would be a very good thing to define the change-over between car 567 and 835, (but 270 or so cars at approximately 15 cars per day is a 3.5 week window in March 1965). Nice work. Your list is getting very good information.
The difference on the simplified dash eliminated not only the seam but the metal tab and wood nub that held the tab.

Wow Bob,
congrats to just having posted the best explained feature change!! Good stuff, much appreciated detail.
Have you noted that the luggage hooks yes/no in the luggage compartment are down to an uncertainty range of 70 cars, spanning around 1 week.......Pretty good for an undocumented change. We are doing well, some more input to go though.

See here an update, 3 new cars added.
Pls note that period uncertainty
- on the luggage hooks in the luggage compartment seem to be down to 2-3 days of production, both for when they appear in middle of March and for when they disappear again last week of May 1965
- on the circular indents in the floor pan seem to be down to 1 sunny day in the last week of in March 1965!
Again , would be great to further close in on other features: more input needed people!

Jacques if you message me your email I will send you some info....
I have car #717 it is signal red. I have some features that I think might be interesting, not sure if they have been added yet. My car has snaps on top of mounts in the floor boards, I think these are for snapping the floor mats in place so they dont slide around. I also have luggage strap holders in the front trunk. I noticed and I think it is original black paint behind the front horn grills, can anyone else see that on their early cars? Also has anyone else mentioned that the carpet is bordered by cloth, not vinyl. I have leather shift and emergency brake boots, tall deck lid grill, black under deck lid grill, 911 badge on glove box and deck lid. Also when did chrome wheels become standard? I think some early cars had painted wheels.![]()
