Charlie had mounted duel rear fog lights, not sure if it was for semmetry or he traveled to some really foggy places. Regardless, the mounting tabs were rusty and the lights dirt encrusted. So off they came to be cleaned up and de-rusted and painted. Chrome is still pitted but at least it's clean now.

The sport muffler sounded like all the baffles had come loose inside when we took it off, turned out to be full of those pesky mud daubers. Once they were evicted just needed to take it down to bare metal, braze up pinholes along the seams and then re-paint.

I see your two-cycle turbo is sitting on the table behind the muffler. Though that plastic duct does not look nearly flexible enough to mount to the intake snorkle...
burned CV axle balls are bad. Glad you found those now.

More cleanup this weekend while waiting for parts. Doors look much better with the release black rather than oxidized.

Bob,
Apart from standing the car on it's head, hod did you clean those up?

The engine sound pad was in very good condition with the exception of the top facing edge. So that needed some attention.

David, both the door handles and the sound pad were treated with "Forever Black". What makes this product better than most of the back to black type products is it does not contain petroleum base and it does have actual black pigments. You can find it on Amazon.
And I don't know how I flipped the car, it's right side up on my iPad photos.
