    Matthew: Boom or bust?

Good luck all of you in FL and up the coast.

I am curious what beach guys with collector cars do in these situations?

    Frank,

You close the garage door, cross your fingers and hope the water doesn't come up. Looks like it will hit central FL pretty hard, and go north of me.

Thank you. All went well in South Florida... we got very lucky; however, my thoughts go out to those in Central Florida all the way up to Charleston, South Carolina. It looks pretty tough for them at this point.

From what I understand, anyone not on the coast was ok. Even coastal areas as far north as N. Palm Beach missed the brunt of it. A lot of people lost power, and that could be the case with your friends.

Jacksonville and St. Augustine had really bad storm surge, and I think Savannah, Charleston and the other coastal towns in the area will have some significant flooding unfortunately.

Just a bit of wind and rain in the West Palm area. A money maker for Home Depot, Lowes and Publix. Plenty of gas in Lake Worth area hardly any lines early on the mornings.
