FS: 74 Carrera 2.7 Targa rear panel NOS but some damage

I have for sale a NOS black vinyl rear parcel shelf with midnight black vertical wall specifically for 74 2.7 Carrera and other 74 models.

The midnight black vertical trim ceased for the 75 model according to Ryan Snodgrass in his 74-76 Carrera Book.

While this piece has never been fitted to a car it does have some damage.

    1. Some small marks in the vinyl as seen in the pics.

    2. Both ends of the rear plastic trim have damage too but I know a cut and paste repair could be affected if you had your old one.

The rear plastic piece is not warped at all and most only warp at the rear section so I believe the very end pieces you need from your old one will be in good shape to transplant to this one.

You may also be able to modify the incorrect size one that Carpoint sells, to fit correctly, but you will need to do a bit of trimming with the power jigsaw.

Anyway it is what it is, the pics accurately reflect any issues but having said that it is still an awesome NOS piece.

$500 USD plus shipping from Australia

Hi Clyde, in case it helps looking at the style of vinyl used on the lower section (pig skin) that part is for the 74- model.

Thanks Alan, Eric L has also alerted me to my error made the same error with the coupe one I had sold so refunding the pruchaser

I will change the heading and can moderators shift this to the correct section thank you

At least I have 2 correct parts for the 74/75 Carrera as both the Targa and the Coupe one has the very dark navy/black material on the vertical wall now that I look very closely at it.

Should have looked closer before advertising...my bad and I apologise

I would like to thank Clyde. I was the purchaser of the nos shelf for my coupe. After being alerted that this item was for 74 - 75 2.7 Carrera, Clyde insisted in refunding all the payment back, INCLUDING ALL the fees. Clyde is a gentleman and a first class seller.
    Thank you Clyde.
