Thanks for sharing the original rear trunk cardboard wall. Had no idea these existed on the very early cars. Does it look like yours was painted? Both sides?

I would be very interested in the pattern and the correct dimensions.

I decided that I will make a pattern a kind of a "mechanical drawing" with dimensions and I'll post it here when it is done. I have seen this same kind of cardboard on other 911 parts in the past, I havnt figured out where yet but when I do I'll post it on this thread too. It does look like the same material as the 69-73 curved cardboard that covers the two fuse boxes in the front trunk, that piece is silver and this one is charcoal gray/black.

That would be extremely welcome!!!!! Much appreciated, I am in need of 2, 1 of which now becomes quite urgent as the car is almost finished. What material is it made of, could you post a photo of the back-side as well as a close up of the side-edge?

Here is the original cardboard rear trunk wall for my #717 car I wonder how many of these are still around? I also wonder when these were used and when they stopped using them?

there is a hole in the board, is it meant to fix the board to something?

Aircooled, is the inner sheet of your hood black or red? I figure this changed around 1300 or so from black to body color. Same for the engine lid, but need more info to confirm this.

Bob the pictures you show are from two different cars
The tabs on one have clips to take a screw or bolt and the other doesnt.

Anyway I have the plain tabs on 1022

How late in production were they?

And if so I need a panel as well
