Hi Scott,
I have a set of good solex centerlube camshafts. Would exchange against a set of new or as new 2.4S camshafts plus shipping costs to/from Germany.
Let me know if that's interesting for you.
Kind regards,
Siegfried
This is interesting. I will see if I can get some fresh S cams to trade. I think I do have some
Thanks

DO you need cam towers Scott? I have some date coded '65.

I do have the cam towers, Thanks!
I do still need the chain boxes/covers, and also the Pierburg pump if anyone has a spare (rebuildable) unit.
Thanks

If your trade doesn't work out Laurie Dunlap, VP of Web Cam told me Web Cam could make new center-lubricated cams.
Tandem Fuel Pumps 901.108.401.00 are available new (for a whole lot of money).
It looks like dC Automotive is claiming to have chain cases, at least the cover plates for center-lubricated cams. They're even pretty cheap.
Not so cheap is the "wobble nut" 901.105.172.00 to drive the tandem pump.
You didn't mention oil lines. If it turns out that you need them Brad Davis of HBD Products has them.
901.105.592.01 Slide sealing ring Axia (the seal between the chain case and the inlet end of the center-lubricated camshaft) currently seem to be very hard to find. Armando Serrano http://www.ajserrano.com/ posted pictures of a pair. I don't know if he's a possible source.

Ed Fall of Vintage Werks LLC can rebuild tandem pumps--I think he wants something like $ 200 to rebuild them. The The Samba pump and a Vintage Werks rebuild would be considerably cheaper than a new pump.
The problem is finding replacement diaphragms. The diaphragm itself is the same as a late 356/912 fuel pump but the metal prong thing in the middle of the diaphragm's different. I think Ed reuses the metal prong from the old diaphragm.
I may have seen new diaphragms for sale somewhere but I don't recall where.
