    Anyone in Baltimore?

I'll be out in annapolis/baltimore area for a few days several weeks from now. Any interesting stories/owners/cars I should visit while I'm there? Always looking for good leads..

If this is your first trip to Baltimore Annapolis area, try to get an excursion to old town Annapolis. George Washington Resigned as General of the Continental Army to accept Presidency at the Court house there. Also Annapolis Naval Academy Museum is awesome and the grounds contain the crypt of John Paul Jones. There is something about walking on the same cobblestones that our forefathers did. Pretty Ominous place.

I have immediate family there and have spent lots of time walking around!

We lived in Baltimore for several years. If I was headed back, I'd go directly to The Helmand, an Afghan restaurant owned by the elder brother of former Afghan president Hamid Karzai. It's not auto journalism, but an auto journalist has to eat. Also, there's a guy named Tom Turnbull who has a giant hoard of vintage motorcycles in a warehouse a few blocks behind the restaurant. He's a character (think Ginger Baker as a motorcycle mechanic). Stop by with a 12-pack of Natty Boh. You'll know the place when you hear really loud Zappa music. His neighbors must love him.

I was thinking that this guy sounds just like a Porsche owner... and then they panned across her.

Yup. I've never seen it move although it looks pretty nice. If I remember correctly, it's a 912E.
