Good info but the last NOS ones were made in 1973 well the one that take the 3 prong caps anyway and I don't think any 993 cars used these wheels

Wouldn't NEW stock imply that they were recently made? 1993 is old enough to warrant NOS in my view. I don't think it necessarily has to mean made during the time they were original equipment to the car they were made for (1973) by most people's definition of NOS. The item just needs to be new and old.

I disagree... Those are new stock ..Not NOS
Porsche still sells em ... now if there was a date code on those they would be New Old Stock.. and yes they need to be made when the car was made to be NOS. imo

    Nice wheels, GLWS.

I will throw in my 2 cents on NOS, an often used and abused term here. NOS refers to obsolete equipment, or original parts for obsolete equipment, that have never been sold at retail. Usually, this is old dealer stock, no longer available from currently produced dealer stock. Once privately purchased from the dealer, it can never be NOS again. In practice, we use a looser definition - NOS connotes stock that is in as-new condition and has not been used, often in original packaging, implicitly no longer widely available from its original source. I believe these Fuchs are in a middle grey area. But no matter, the seller has been upfront about their date of manufacture. No need to take him to task for using NOS.

Strongly disagree and 100% agree with Seareef and most people on here would agree with Neunelfs definiton of NOS as he captured the essence perfectly in my opinion

That said sellers here and on other sites use NOS as a means to enhance a sale

That is why I put my bib in where it was probably not wanted as I don't like that practice when incorrectly applied.

These are great wheels and well prices too just not NOS in my opinion.
