Here is the next picture in this same series. This photo was taken by Bill Wagenblatt at Hockenheim on April 8, 1973, and also posted on touringcarracing.net. This was the very first time that Eugen Kiemele raced with the 9113600894, only about one week after receiving the car from Paul Ernst Strahle.

Here is another picture we received from the Eugen Kiemele archives, when he raced the 0894 in 1973.
Does anyone recognize the "S" or "8" decal on the left rear quarter panel? I would like to reproduce it for the car. Please share, if you do.

Thank you UAI! Do you know, in period, what color this "Sachs" decal would have been? I have seen them online in blue or black.

Mid to light blue - I'll look in my old magazines for a sample.
Not quite sure if that's too modern http://www.ebay.de/itm/192250509756?
Cheers

Thanks Uli!
Here is another picture from the Eugen Kiemele archives. You can see his very distinct Red, White and Blue helmet color. Maybe he knew his car would go to the United States (44 years later!?)
