    Ravi --- Can you post a photo of which exact jack you are searching for? Is it a green dot jack?

    I believe it looks like this, but I am not a jack expert. Flat handle crank. Green dot. Hopefully others chip in. It's 0854, a Feb 1973 build.

    Thank you for the input S and I have no reason to disagree. It's a bit hard to makeup in that picture though. The 73 MY manual does show the longer non-teardrop (lollipop I guess) shaped handle, and that's the only guide I have. The picture I snagged above is indeed from a 914 web site. Hadn't realized there was a difference with the 911. No wonder Porsche started losing money hand over fist with all these silly variations!

    Many things changed from 1/73 or 2/73. Like impact beams, double locker seats mounts and such. As well as tool bag clasp to tie transition. So who knows exactly what is right? It's not unreasonable to believe that the 914 would use a cheaper prong of course and that the luxurious 911 would use the solid one. The 914 was also 400 lbs lighter than the 911, with better weight distribution, so that too makes sense. Solid prong for the heavier car.

    The search continues. I've updated what I think I'm looking for based on this discussion so far.

    This is from my neighbour's 1982 911. He has owned it since new. It says Bilstein on the left side of the solid prong, but not the right side. Looks identical to what you posted.
