Anybody have any recommendations as to the best sources for windshields? Tinted if possible.

If you just want a piece of glass and are not concerned with the Logo, just call your local glass company. The Chinese made replacement windshields are good quality and you should be able to purchase one for a fraction of the "Sigla" windshields. The current "Sigla" logos are not correct, anyway.

Dave, we use the Stoddard Sigla, they fit correctly, others have been a bit of a gamble. I realize the 'Sigla' won't pass a close inspection, but I would rather at least have the name there as opposed to something oddball. A little story on fitment,,,,we once had three 914's that needed windshields all at the same time. Since those are glue in we have our glass man supply them and do the install. NONE of them fit,,,,,Our glass guy did eventually get three that fit,,,,but as I say I hate the gamble if I have a source that works.

You mean you guys don't have NOS?
I have new 20 year old clear Siglas in the rack. Plus a couple of NOS 914's.
All very expensive but if you had an original windshield insurance companies are obligated to pay for "like kind quality".

Read the small print in your policy. My street cars are insured by Farmers Ins and they have a clause in the policy that states they will use aftermarket parts to fix my hoopties unless I pay an exrra premium for the right to use OEM parts. This is under the Comprehensive part of my policy. I've got Chinese, aftermarket windshields in both my wife"s Ford Fusion and in my Toyota Tundra. They are just as good as the OEM windshields that they replaced, in fact, I think they are the same windshields with a different logo.

I know Heacock will pay for NOS.
