This radio is in my 1972.
Is it an original radio and correct?

The radio may be period correct , but it doesn't look original to the car . The basketweave vinyl surround does not match the dash , the vinyl would match if factory or dealer installed when the car was new .
Here is some info on this type of radio...
The basketweave faceplate I pulled out of my son's '72 was plastic, how about yours?

Yes it is period correct(not factory), could have been installed at the dealer or later by aftermarket shop. It is a Motorola Sapphire and the faceplate is plastic embossed with basket weave design.

I take advantage of and if it is not to dirty the post I ask if this, it would correspond with a European model for the year 72! Clarion!

The plastic basket weave surround was dealer installed in the period. My car has it. My understanding of it is that if the factory installed your radio you probably got the vinyl faceplate but if it was dealer installed you very likely could have gotten the plastic basket weave faceplate which was probably left over from earlier years.
My 72 has the original (non-working) US Blaupunkt Frankfurt

They used the wrong install kit for your application, I had a couple of the correct ones a while back where you could apply any color vinyl to the faceplate, the chrome trim is a separate piece from the faceplate. This one has the black basket weave but you could install smooth beige to match.
