86 Sport Purpose Carrera "O4"
Dane's car is truly a gem. He did so many neat features on the car, and it really is quite a hot rod with that 3.6L engine and light body. A guy could have a lot of fun with it. Very reasonable price...couldn't duplicate it for what is being asked.

OK and the pre auction estimate for the ST tribute previously "threaded" is 125-150K????? Huh?
This car has shaved gutters ... is this Barrett's former car?

A little late, but . . .
. . . Description . . .
. . . This 911 started out as a stock Mocha Brown 911 SC and has been professionally modified and upgraded for high performance. The body had been stripped to bare metal and professionally refinished in cool Ice Blue Metallic and hand-rolled fender flares, upgraded fiberglass GT racing hood and Fiberglass ducktail spoiler were installed, as well as a GT racing front bumper with custom Kevlar splitter and MA Shaw rear bumper added . . .
. . . The original 3.0L engine has been replaced by a 3.6L flat-six from a 993 and is paired with a rebuilt 915 5-speed manual transmission. The engine and transmission have both been totally dialed in with OEM Club Sport mounts, EBS valve springs, B&B high volume oil cooler, Auto Extremist Carbon fiber ducting, dual plug system, Sachs high performance clutch, Patrick Motorsports lightweight flywheel, WEVO short shifter and new CV joints. The car weighs in at a scant 2,230 pounds and the mildly modified engine has been dyno-tested to the tune of 262hp/236lb-ft at the rear wheels . . .
. . . To handle the enhanced performance, the suspension has been upgraded with custom valved Bilstein shocks, turbo tie rods, Neatrix bushings, Elephant Racing triangular Cross Bar, control arm bushings and low-friction mounts, hollow T-bars and new ball joints. Custom Recaro "Pole Position" racing seats were then added to the interior along with a quick-release MOMO sport steering wheel, North Hollywood gauges, Alpine sound system with Infinity speakers and custom RS-style panels carpeting. For added safety, a 930 brake conversion was completed, cross-drilled rotors and performance Ferodo pads fitted, and a SafeCraft fire suppression system and leather-covered TRE Motorsports roll bar installed . . .
. . . This 911 SC was featured in Excellence magazine where it was called a "wicked ride" and compared to a RUF Yellow-Bird . . .
. . . We have two binders full of build information, dyno sheets, owners manual and custom work records on file with this 911, as well as the June 2007 issue of Excellence magazine that this SC was featured in. Click Here or head over to our Flickr page to see more of this SC including over 50 photos of custom & restoration work. http://www.flickr.com/photos/parkplaceltd/sets/. . . .
