    I will never understand why it's "cool" to present a car like that. Ridiculous.

    Must be the mechanic in me.


    Isn't that the one that showed up here for sale about a year ago? Maybe 18 months? A very aloof guy selling for a "friend".

    Easy.
    You park it next to a "perfectly" restored example, to show the extent and quality of your work.

    In the best scenario, you sell it during the show to someone the you convince to let you restore it.

    Many years ago, I have seen a Bugatti with only one side restored, just to illustrate the quality of the work.

    That's really confusing why they would show that car off. Not just the junk state that it's in but the fact that it doesn't even have the right fenders, horn grills, turn signals, decklid and script. The car is advertising itself as a 911T, when it's actually a very early 65 build.

    Type 57 Coupé Atalante? That was Lecoq. Later they restored the other half too.

    the 1964 porsche costs in the state 350,000 € funny: the provider is not a restorer, but a bank that offers credit :-))

    what happened btw last year with the 67 bahama yellow swt from ruf...it sold during the show for 430k to the US
