    The original owner had it made. The top frame and mechanism is original and functions just like the original vinyl top which I have. The original vinyl top has never been folded. I purchased a third top to use when on a long trip. The ss top does not fit in the trunk area or safely in the rear seat area. I suppose I could stuff it in, but since the car has less than 60k miles, I choose not to force things.
    The top is made to made the targa cross bar. Inside is very quiet.... well, not coupe quiet but certainly less air noise than the other vinyl tops.

    That looks like Ralph Booths car, who was a Porsche parts seller/fabricator, and just an all around good guy in Southern California.

    Anybody know if the car Gib posted is still around? That has some pretty nice subtle mods.
