Dave,
That IS funny.

Well, it is salvagable. Wish I could say the same for my 72 POS parts car.

hmmm...is this really a '68 - gauges and door handles are pre 68. that white primer has got to be hiding a lot of...well who knows what. black plates on a 68S that was not suppose to have been exported to the states? all in all a decent base if it is a 67S or 68S if the reserve is low enough. there was a recent T that sold with a buy it now price of $3K in just about the same condition. i'm bored enough that i would love to start another SWB project....

funny looking S
no S deco
no S interior ( from what you can see of it )
looks like a parts car to me.

Parts car? Says right there - all it needs is a tune up, carbs cleaned and a wad of bubble gum in the gas tank. Then you're in early S heaven...
or would that be HELL?
From what I've seen on ebay the past few days... it's worth more as parts.

Strange VIN as well, could it be a 912? Bob is right, 67 door handles and guages
Nick Moss - Early 911S #476 - RGruppe #318 - early911.co.uk
Due to VIN no 911! 12022506 must be an 912.
The tach has the redline at the correct spot, nd the gauges are from a 911. Might be a cross between a 1967 S and a 1968 912. Rear view mirror seems to be from a '68 as does the dashboard cover. It has the H1 european headlights?
