Thread: Show your ride...

No problem with lugs, other than finding replacements. Some good info in previous post "is this cornpanzer's" about lugs. Tough to get, but cornpanzer had good input on some alternatives. I am in Los Gatos, work in PA, so do pass through Los Altos at times.

I couldn't hold out any longer.

Ride no. 1 is pictured below - 73 RS rep tarmac rally car (with the odd circuit race thrown in). The engine is a 7R 2.7 with MFI, GE80's, 10.5:1 Arias pistons etc. It WAS making a little over 200hp to the rear wheels (until I put most of a valve into the no. 1 combustion chamber at my last event...). Started stripping the motor on the weekend.

Ride no. 2 (aka sensible street car) is a black/black, non sunroof 78 930 with a "Kremer package). I will keep the pic's away from your "impact bumper sensitive" eyes...

Ride no. 3 is a 70 911T targa roughie that i bought to do an early speedster project thing on but think i will sell on to a mate who has promised to "save" it

PacWest sunset run this past weekend

My '72S is smack dab in the middle of the Portland PacWest R Gruppe brothers on this fun run last Saturday.

Front to back at sunset are Steve Barrager's Light Ivory '71E, Tom Wilkinson's Tangerine '73 911 w/ 2.7RS MFI, my Metallic Blue '72S w/ 2.7RS MFI, Howard Lazarus' Ferrari Red '72 911 "hot rod" with RS flares and carb'd 3.0, and Earl Green's Burgandy '70E w/ 2.7 "BA" spec motor. Great light!

    Hashman,

What a beauty. Glad you got some cherry pics of it before it moved on. Hopefully the new owner will appreciate it as much as you. It is a drop dead beauty. Be sure to post some pics of your new project, because if it comes out as nice as the blue car.....
