    Hi Bob.
I've been through this exercise before and came to a conclusion that the only correct screwdriver for 73.5 toolkits is the red handle (the early ones, not the later post 1989 red handle) with the reversible shank bits. Also, the pliers looks wrong, and the sparkplug wrench also looks wrong.

Hi Andy, thank you for your input. Will this be the correct reversible driver bit?

Yep. And, just for clairity, the yellow handle with three blades is incorrect! The spark plug wrench should have the taper up at the knurled end, not flat wihch is 69-72 one. Hapewe pliers can, IMHO, be correct though. Thanks.

Should the wrenches consist of the SSS variety for a 73 and 73.5 tool roll?

If you have not, please look at this entire thread, there are some excellent late 73 kits shown. SSS are correct and also, Select Steel. List memeber confirmation would help here. By late 73, I'm pretty sure Drop Forged were no longer in the kits.

Drop Forged Steel was still in use post-1973. Frequently, the wrenches did not all match in the same kit (e.g. there might be one DFS, or one SSS, or even later other varieties).
