Thread: Is this the 64/65 Engine Mount?

Is this the 64/65 Engine Mount?

I was lead to believe this was the 64/65 engine cross brace. Is this information true? It certainly looks different than the other ones I have.

    Thank you in advance,
    Brad

To best of my knowledge, yes. Later ones had lip to give more rigidity. The ends bend as you see when torqued by the engine mount bolts. You have to be careful when tightening to avoid this. They also cracked at the joint.

It is a 912, not a 911. Yes, it is "early"

    Ciao

Looks like Jim spoiled the party about 90 min too late.

It is for a 911 for sure and if it was the intention to sell on ebay, it was good to terminate to reset to a realistic price. They are on offer every now and then for 100-150 €
