    market price for a 1970 fender oil cooler

    did a search but was unable to locate

    what is the going rate for a stock 1970 passenger side in the fender oil cooler?

    working fine, no leaks or damage

    I think you indirectly answered your own question; they don't come up often enough to have a "going rate".

    I would think a tested, guaranteed cooler that isn't too beat up is in the $3k neighborhood.

    Actually when you think about it $3k is a bargain. It's a must have part for 69-71 authenticity and they deteriorate. (Unlike a fender, wheel, or sport seat which in theory are "one time" investments these coolers can go bad through normal driving.)

    Add in the fact that most likely NO ONE will reproduce them accurately and you better buy one while they're still "cheap".
