    Pete Stout

I read recently that Pete Stout has left Panorama Magazine. I'm sure a better opportunity lies ahead for Pete, but I'm sorry to see him leave the helm of Pano. His writings on both new and old Porsche cars has always grabbed my attention and admiration. His comments always seem to be in a place that feels about right. He is truly an enthusiast car guy, and it will be interesting to see where he lands next.

    This truly is a shame...

Pete has been an insider friend in the Porsche community for so long .... I hope he'll helm another publication/media that becomes as enjoyable as PANO has been since his tenure...

    Cheers and Good luck Pete,
    .... more adventures to come

Well, he fixed it. Let's see if it stays fixed or not..
Best to him wherever he lands next.

Here he is leaving a bunch of doughnut eating, coffee drinking, Porsche fanatics last Saturday morning. He has been a Porsche friend since he was in High School.
    Good luck, my friend!

    Ciao

He took an old tired publication (no disrespect to the Turners for years of faithful service!) and made it spectacular. His efforts brought me back to PCA after a 20+ year hiatus.

And I just renewed my PCA membership two weeks ago.

Had I known this was happening I could have saved some cash.

Pano was the only reason I renewed. Even then I'm still only up to February issue.

I hope he lands in some sort of Porsche media related role.

I wish the very best for Pete as well. He remains a good friend and a valuable mentor to me, and I love working with him.

I wouldn't sell Panorama Magazine without Pete too short however.

It takes a village. He built that village. And the rest of the village is still in place. Let's give it a chance.

Big shoes to fill, for sure...

Pano will continue to be great. Every time i open an issue and read his work and the rest, I think about what a grind it must be to do this. Maybe he's simply burnt out at the moment. I know i do and need to do something different for a while.

First thing I do after I rip off the plastic is read Pete's editorial. Always an insightful, good read. Can't say I do that with any other publication, automotive or otherwise. Going to miss that.
