New Service: LWB Turn Signal Restoration

I have had many requests in the past couple of years for LWB turn signal refurbishment and restoration. So I decided to work on a couple of projects to see what is involved and to familiarize myself with them. The projects have turned out well and I'm going to go ahead and add LWB turn signal refurbishment and restoration to my list of services.

These are U.S. rear turn signals, partially restored:

To get started I am only restoring cores as the housings are somewhat difficult to find. The service consists of disassembly, cleaning, bead blasting and painting, checking and re-doing wiring if necessary, new gaskets, new lenses, new bulbs and new screws. The lenses available have proper coloring, fit and lettering, with one caveat - the front lenses have the correct Bosch lettering on them but the rear lenses do not.

LED bulbs are available as well as the original incandescent bulbs.

The cost is $1,250.00 for a full four corner set. Turnaround is 3-4 weeks.

    Thanks,
    John

Thanks to my early LWB customers - I've completed several sets of LWB turn signals and things have worked out well. There was a bit of a learning curve involved with the differences between U.S. and RoW versions but I think I have gotten familiar with the various iterations ( I've compiled a Guide to LWB Turn Signals here - http://www.audettecollection.com/a-g...-turn-signals/ ).

I've also accumulated a nice inventory of original housings so I'm well equipped to both a set from scratch or restore your cores. Pricing is $1,250.00 for a core restoration and $1,800.00 for a restored set with no core trade-in. Note that the lenses I use are the high quality ones with proper lettering and coloration and fit, except only the front lenses have the "Bosch" lettering on them. The rears are not available with Bosch lettering as far as I can determine.

    Cheers,
    John
