FS: 1968 911 S Coupe. Deserves best restorer

    Good morning,

I have had my 911S stored for too long to repair. Now it needs the best restorer.

    Porsche 911 S 1968

Car registered in the Canary Islands in august 7, 1968. . Original color white. Car air shipped to Madrid. Installed in Porsche Madrid the competition Kit II Part No. 901.100.907.00.

Years 69 y 70 participating in Madrid in several club races; doing well.

Year 1971. Car air shipped to Gran Canaria. Totally revised at Porsche premises in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Installed new standard 911 S camshafts, ignition, clutch and carburetion set-up. The rest of the competition Kit II parts, still in the engine, besides heavy duty suspension, brakes, engine mounts, etc... Car painted yellow. Actual exhaust system installed in the car is the racing exhaust included in the Kit II, modified for street use. Engine never opened.

1975. Modifications. Installed magnesium Minilite wheels, 8" and 10 " x 15". Arch wheels extensions, made in fiberglass, on top of the original fenders. Bolted Kremer RSR frontal. Car painted red.

1981. Car stored working properly. Engine full of clean oil trough carburetors until oil came out by the exhaust.

Actually, the vehicle has only superficial oxide in the underbody of the car and in the interior front part of the trunk. Not one oxide perforation in the whole car. No significant accidents.

    52.000 kilometers. Engine never opened.

€ 165.000 OBO. Rodrigo de Vega

Could-you, please, share the VIN of this car?

Also, do you have any additionnal original parts with it?

Vin nº is 11801199. If you zoom in a couple of pictures of the trunk, you may see the number or part of it.

I do have the jack , the floor mats, etc... I am not a business operation, these is my car.

The only modifications to the car are the frontal (bolted) and the four wheel arches. Quite original.

Thanks for asking. Any information that you need, I will provide.

This looks like a great project. Love the history, period photos and the Competition Kit in the mix.

    Good luck with sale

Nice, another airfield gearbox. Those Nadella axles on a 68 means there's an LSD in there as well.

    Don and others,

    Good morning,

    Don, thanks for your inquire.

I am new in the forum and I don't know whether I can post openly an e-mail direction.

Anyway, if you open the link to the pictures of the car, there you will find a word document that explain briefly the story of the car; at the end of the document, you may see some contact information.

If you figure out any other way to contact, please let me know.

    Thanks
