    H-1 Headlight Adjustment

To raise one of the H1 headlights should I turn the vertical adjust screw clockwise or counter-clockwise?

    Thx

I've done that to no real effect.

Thx, beh911. I have the diagram and the screws are ID'd on the lens. My problem is that moving the low beam vertical screw doesn't seem to make much difference. And these were new when installed, supposedly the last set imported to the US.

I have the screw cranked all the way clockwise now, and it is snug so I don't think the Bowden tube (or whatever it is) is broken.

Remove the headlight assembly, the problem might be obvious, like maybe one of the rubber grommets has come out.

When I bought my car could not get one of the headlights to adjust. Removed the headlamp to discover one of the flexible rods was no longer engaged with the lamp... so it would just spin and spin and do nothing. Took a minute to fix and then worked perfectly.

I once had my H1s so badly adjusted that when you switched it to high beams the passenger side was lighting up the tops of trees
