I came across Brian Wilson’s yellow 911 on a Netflix documentary about music in Echo Canyon back in the day. No sugar scoops for Brian. Anyone have any other info on his interest and ownership of 911’s?

Here's some info, they say it was a 68 L.

Karl, looks like a '67 to me, probably an 'S' too. The wipers are parked on the passenger side (and silver) and the side mirror and door handles also look pre-68. It's hard to tell but it even looks like the rear view mirror is black, which would make it definitely a '67S.
I enjoyed that movie when we saw it a few weeks ago!
Wonder what color that was in '68? And no side reflectors...

Thanks guys, nice car. Always like a good yellow.
@Mike, we too enjoyed the movie. Of course with Jakob Dylan running the show, there’s no issue with getting access to all that talent and getting them on camera

Interesting the video segment begins with Stephen Stills.... a tie to my car who's original owner was Richie Furay, also of Buffalo Springfield fame. (More on that history...http://www.early911sregistry.org/for...roll+hall+fame)
Speaking with Richie, he said he always wanted a yellow 911 like Brian Wilson had. Richie's was originally signal yellow. He got his in '71 after Poco's "Deliver'n" album hit the charts.

It definitely is older than a '68, the deco appears to be non-S. Can anyone identify the aftermarket wheels?
