They look very similar to my Scheelmann ASS, Auto Sport Spezialsitze, sport seats. I believe the ones I have are model 203. I purchased mine from eBay 8 years ago to install in my Turkis 2002tii.
Your seats look identical with exception to the hinge style.
Here's a previous thread with the ASS brochure.

Looks like the set of Scheel 200's in this thread from 2013: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsc...200-seats.html

I tried to buy that set but the guy wouldn’t ship to me. Been looking for another
Pair ever since if he’s selling, please pass
Along my interest. They are model 200 or 201? I had one and looked for a mate for a long time. I broke down and sold the single. Would rather have the Scheels than my factory sportseats.

My guess is 501 - but wihtout a reference (being in a car) 201 and 501 pretty much look the same.
Depending on year they should have a label on them rear of the lower seat part at the very bottom.
Resurrecting an old thread here, thanks to Google.
Hi—new guy here, just joined today because I can see there are some serious Scheel seat experts here.
I just inherited a pair of Scheel seats. I *think* they are 200 or 201 models based on what I’ve read here, but I can’t be sure as there are no markings. They were originally installed in a 1972 De Tomaso Pantera, which was driven for a few years before being dismantled and parked in a warehouse in pieces for more than 30 years. So they show precious little wear, apart from a small wound on the back left of the passenger seat where it was accidentally laid back against a spinning alternator when the engine was run with the removable metal firewall access hatch removed.
Can anybody help me definitively identify them? I know the reclining mechanism changed over the years so can you give an approximate date or era of manufacture? Based on their history I’m assuming they are from the early 1970s.
Thanks in advance for your help!
Here are some pics:
I have been told that the seats shown above are Scheel 203s. I’ve now listed them as such on EBay. Cheers!
