    A little Detective work?

Greetings, We own a very nice 1969 911S Softwindow Targa. This car was purchased October 6, 1969 by my father in-law Hal Yeager so it's been in our family for 53 years. Here's my questions, this car was a fully loaded special order by Mr William Marsh of Muncie Indiana and completed production on 12/10/69. From the build sheet this Porsche was order with exactly everything Marsh wanted on the car and considering that it probably took a few months to reach Muncie it appears that only kept it 6-8 months(?). It's just a mystery to me why someone would order such a special car and keep it such a short time. Does anyone know the William Marsh family that might be able to put me in contact with them learn more about the history of this car. Thanks, Glenn

Not to state the obvious, but have you tried reaching out to all the people listed in that article using something like whitepages.com?
Show good intention, respect, act a little car crazy to gain their replies?

I've seen this before, people special ordering a car then only keeping it a short time. Case in point was this 550, sold it quickly.
I think for some people the thrill is the buying, not the enjoying, my kids do it with toys, no reason adults don't do it with cars.
